Employment: Management in food and services business. Always on the go and will use the very limited time to cycle productively.

Cycling Activities: Participated in various mountainbiking activities around Malaysia including RUN10, KJ 09 and UUM XC Race. Always present in Gerek Baru routine ride.

Comments: The most promising rider to watch. Very consistent and good attitude. Like to train on long distance on road around hilly area of Wang Tepus and Padang Terap.

Nibong Tebal MTB Adventure Review

Nibong Tebal MTB Adventure 2010
Venue: Kolej Kejuruteraan, Universiti Sains Malaysia Trans Krian, Nibong Tebal, Pulau Pinang.

Gerek Baru star rating on scale of 1-5

Venue: 4 stars easily accessible, full facility eventhough parking spaces a bit cramp

Preparation: 5 star well organized, goodies collection smooth. Trek well marked. Marshal were stationed at risk area. Ambulance was waiting at strategic point.
Water station at strategic point, enough water, suntonic drink and banana for riders. Very good quality jersey (5 stars)

Trek: 5 stars even though can be considered very extreme especially on downhill, very enjoyable with ridable trail with good mixtures of climbing and downhill. 42 KM trek is just nice considering a long climbing the riders has to endure. The downhill parts not only require skills but also patience and far sighted. Those who fell off knows what I am talking about.

Overall: 6 stars Gerek Gunung people had proved again their high reputation in handling this event which had already graduated to standard 2. I am also touched with the great support from the local folks, eagerly waiting at the roadside and in front of their house cheering up the riders..some even gave out rambutans to the riders. 1600++ registered participants is a new record.
